Existance
Existence is the first book in the Existence trilogy written by Abbi Glines.
~*~Spoiler Alert~*~
Even through the emotional turmoil Pagan experienced and all the confusion that me as the reader experience, I kind of loved Existence but to tell you the truth I have no idea why. It starts great and then... It's too confusing to even describe. But even through it all I still think people should read it. The only thought in my head after finishing Existence is 'What the hell just happened?' I mean, first the main character- Pagan who can see ghosts starts to see a talking ghost who appears totally confused about her ability, then she gets hit by a truck and mysteriously survive, then she starts to fall in love with the mysterious soul- Dank but at the same time starts dating someone else, then Dank disappears after kissing her and she goes mental and eventually gets admitted to a mental institution, then she finds out who he really is and sacrifices herself (dying) so he won't go to hell but after dying she decide to return to her body so he will have a nicer time is hell, then she finds out that it was all a test and she passed and to top it all she finds out at the end that her existing boyfriend is not even human. I just read it and I'm all kinds of confused. The book was written quite good and I loved the characters but it was way to full. The author writes about an epic love story but skips the part where they fall in love. Even if it's a fantasy book the characters have to actually be with each other in order to fall in love like they supposedly did and to make the unbelievingly huge sacrifices that they made for each other. I think that the author should have split the book in half. the ending of book one was supposed to be the Beach scene after the concert. Even after everything the book is still worth reading and I really enjoyed it.
