Ender's Game
Ender's Game is the first book in the Ender Saga written by Orson Scott Card. Ender's Game is the most interesting book I have even read. Orson Scott Card is an amazing author, one of the best in my opinion. When I started reading the book I really thought it will be bad because this book starts when Ender is only six years old but the book rose over every expectation I had. The story follows Ender Wiggin for five years since he is first taken to battle school. All the Wiggin kids are extraordinarily brilliant but Ender is the most unique because he has the compassion of his sister and the strength and malice of his brother. Reading this book was an amazing experience, the way Orson wrote Ender's thoughts and reason was incredible. A mind that works almost only on facts and strategy.
~*~Spoiler Alert~*~
For example, when he first arrived at the battle school everyone at his group hated him and the head of the group was a big bully who really bothered Ender so Ender decided that the only way to survive there and maybe even make some friends was to "overthrow" the bully anonymously. And in a period of a few days he was able to take the bully down only by using his computer. It's amazing to read about the strategies the Ender forms to every situation he's in. The book was sometimes hard to read because the commanders targeted Ender from the start. They wanted him to be great and maybe even finish the war so their plan was to bring him into the battle school and put him in a lot of bad situations to see how he managed (and of course he exceled at everything) but no matter what he did they wouldn't let him be happy they did everything in their power to separate him from all the others and make him hated. Throughout almost all the book Ender is depressed and extremely lonely and it's very sad to read. Warning- this is not a happy book, the beginning, middle and end are not happy. But this book is all kinds of special and everyone has to read it! You will never forget the experience.
