~*~Spoiler Alert~*~
I really enjoyed reading Touch. It's unusual to come across a book where the girl is the brave, tough and cynical, who has no problem flipping someone off and beating the crap out of them and the guy is the innocent and inexperienced that needs the guidance. Plus, the real unusual thing is that unlike all the other books about people with powers, the girl already knew from the start that she has powers and didn't mention it until the middle of the book.
I loved Kale. He's so cute! The way he wants to experience Dez's touch because she's the only one who can touch him, but doesn't understand what every gesture he does actually means, is adorable.
The last fight was a bit too short for my taste but there was enough action and drama for it to matter less. I didn't see Kale's death coming but it was obvious that they would heal him in a matter of minutes.
Even though the book was really good I couldn't help but notice that there are a lot of similarities between the world the author created and the world from the TV show 'The Tomorrow People'.
The book kind of felt like a mash up between the tomorrow people and the X-men. Again, the book was really good and I recommend it to everyone who like those kind of books but don't expect it to be a thriller that you just have to know what happens next. There is still action and romance and ton of betrayal, I promise that no one who will read it will regret it, but I still peg the book as for light reading.
